Subject: How can I track (and display) the user's last login?
Feedback Type: Question
Product Area: Domino Server
Technical Area: Application Development
Platform: ALL
Release: 8.5.3
Reproducible: Not applicable
I have a requirement to track each time a user authenticates (via the browser) so that we can display "Welcome John Doe. You last logged in on Mar 21, 2013 at 4:57 AM EST".
We tried adding a simple WebQueryOpen agent to the login form, but the agent doesn't get triggered. The agent was set to allow public access to run the agent, and set the agent to run as agent signer, but still nothing. We tried putting the login form in the domcfg.nsf and then in a separate database, but still nothing.
From the login form, we can redirect the user to a temporary page that triggers the agent before sending the user to the real appplication home page, but what's to stop a user from bookmarking that page temporary page?
Any and all help/suggestions are greatly appreciated.
